The goal for this mid-mod Calgary kitchen that we renovated was to achieve clean lines, and remain open and bright.

This was achieved by using a downdraft vent, which is a great alternative to a large ceiling mounted hood fan. Additionally, the existing island had a tiered / raised bar top, so it was imperative that the new island be installed with a flat surface top at countertop height to allow for clean lines and an open working area.

MODUS provided In-Home Planning, Project Management, and Installation Services.

This project took approx. 8 weeks to complete.

This project showcases IKEA frames complete with IKEA RINGHULT high gloss white fronts & ASKERSUND light ash accent doors, and uses IKEA BILLSBRO finger pulls throughout.
